What payment cards do you accept?
We accept: American Express (excluding American Express Travelers Check cards), Diners cards, Discover cards, Visa credit cards, MasterCard credit cards and Avis-issued payment cards.
We do not accept Maestro cards, Cirrus cards, JCB cards, any prepaid cards (even with the Visa or MaterCard logo) or any other cards not listed above.
We do not accept digital payment cards.
BUDGET Rent a Car
Budget accepts most major credit cards as credit identification at the time of rental. Accepted credit cards: Budget Charge Card, American Express, AT&T Capital, Diner's Club Intl, Discover, China Union Pay, GE Capital, JCB, MasterCard, PHH, Sears and Visa. Some locations may not accept each of the referenced cards.
DOLLAR Rent a Car
The following forms of payment are accepted when booking on the websites: most major credit cards, debit cards* and the Dollar Charge Card (HCC).
However, you may opt to pay by other means at termination of rental, subject to specific terms and conditions being met.
For all bookings, the person in whose name the vehicle is booked MUST be the person whose credit card is used.
The person who makes the booking MUST be the person to whom the vehicle is rented.
Enterprise Rent a Car
All major debit and credit cards (issued by either Visa, Mastercard or American Express) are accepted. Checks, prepaid cards, Diners Club and Discover Card are not accepted. All cards presented must be in the renters name. A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental.
EUROPCAR
You will also need to present a valid credit card on which an authorisation is requested.
Please be aware that the renter IS the cardholder and must be physically present in order to sign the rental agreement.
HERTZ Rent a Car
We accept most major credit and debit cards (restrictions apply), Hertz Charge Card (HCC) and One Trip Travel Order (OTTO). Cards must be in the driver's name.
SIXT Rent a Car
Credit and debit cards from internationally recognized credit card companies (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB) and AirPlus, Amex BTA/iBTA are accepted as payment method. No type of prepaid card is accepted.
The means of payment must be issued in the name of a person present at the collection of the vehicle. Said document must be presented with the collection vehicle and must be valid at that time and, at least, during the month following the start of the rental. The amount that will be deducted from your payment method includes the rental price, as well as any additional extraordinary charges.
Thrifty Car Rental
We accept most major credit and debit cards (restrictions apply), Hertz Charge Card (HCC) and One Trip Travel Order (OTTO). Cards must be in the driver's name. See Forms of Payment for details.
